fruit filling or without it. The line presented here produces chocolate
enrobed cottage cheese bars weighing 35 to 50 g that are packaged piece
by piece in a multi-layer color film (similar to MARS chocolate bars).

The automatic
chocolate enrobed cottage cheese bar process line comprises:

1. Forming machine with a string
cutter, diaphragm
cutter or diaphragm cutter-2
Finished and cooled cottage cheese (+ 6 to – 5 ? C) is fed to the machine
hopper to form cheese bars.
2. Filling stuff feeder
Screw pump and volumetric valve-type filler feed a filling (jam, condensed
milk, etc) through a special nozzle into a bar middle.
3. Chocolate enrobing machine
A screw pump feeds warm chocolate coating in a bar sprinkler. Enrobing
machine has a wire net conveyor that is drawing cheese bars through a
chocolate glaze stuff flowing over the bars from a sprinkler. There is
a pan under a wire belt to enrobe a bar bottom. Excess chocolate glaze
is removed with a warm air jet.
4. Cooling tunnel
Hot chocolate glazed bars are directed onto a belt conveyor and transferred
to a cooling chamber where cheese bars are cooled to become solid.
5. Automatic placer of a
linear or rotary type
It receives cooled cottage cheese bars arranged in rows orientating and
placing them on a wrapping machine.
6. Wrapping machine
It wraps finished chocolate enrobed bars in a film making a Flow-Pack.
