Weigher is designed to dose fill granulated
cottage cheese by weighing out and delivering it in portions.
Weigher functions in a stepwise mode. It is controlled through a micro-rocessor
based weighing terminal. All data are output to a segmented display.
Weigher can be used conjointly with a rotary or linear packaging machine.

Products to be weighed is poured to the hopper and transferred to the loosener
by a screw.
Loosener is virtually a cogged drum that prevents cottage cheese to fall
in big lumps into the accumulating hopper. At the accumulating hopper
bottom there are sliding shutters driven by two air cylinders.
In the weighing point an elevator lifts a cup to fill it with cottage
cheese; when a load cell responds the sliding shutters close, a cup drops
and moves further to the position where cream is added, foil lid is sealed,
date is printed, etc.
